Cardiothoracic Surgery PA

Location: Located in Myrtle Beach, SC. Physicians will get the opportunity to work and live just moments from the beach. Myrtle Beach, SC is filled with activities, from sitting and relaxing on the beach to enjoying all the shops and restaurants it has to offer. Residents can also enjoy many other activities such as golf, nightlife and shows at Broadway at The Beach, walking the boardwalk, or visiting the aquarium. This is a great location for individuals and families.

Healthcare Organization: Full-service emergency care hospital and tertiary referral center.

Opportunity: Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant
*Full-time permanent position
*Days with rotating weekends
*2 or more years’ experience with all routine heart surgery procedures and thoracic procedures
*Possess understanding of clinic follow ups and post op outpatient care
*Exposure to minimally invasive procedures a plus
*Experience in EVH and 1st assist in surgery required
*APP will be responsible for daily rounding on patients pre and post-operatively as well as conducting follow-up assessments in the clinic
*Expected call schedule of 1:3
