Local Team Collaboration:

  • Join our friendly, cohesive team of 16 physicians and 9 advanced practice providers (APPs).
  • Collaborate with professionals from diverse backgrounds, including newly trained residents and those with decades of experience.
  • Actively participate in hospital committees such as credentials, medical executive, sepsis, peer review, and citizenship, strengthening our connections with specialists and administration.

Qualifications:

  • Physician assistant (PA) certification and emergency medicine experience preferred. 
  • South Carolina state licensure is required.
  • Must be comfortable with collaborative, team-based care and managing high-volume emergency cases.
Practice in the Heart of the Community

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide care in Aiken Regional Medical Center’s 30-bed emergency department and the 10-bed ER at Sweetwater in North Augusta, Georgia.
  • Manage community emergency medicine with 43,000 annual visits at Aiken Regional and 23,000 at Sweetwater.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and consultants during your shift for seamless patient care.
