Position Description

This part-time role offers flexible scheduling (16–24 hours/week, 2–3 days), with preference for one weekend day; weekday coverage can also be discussed. Ideal for PMHNPs who enjoy collaborative, mission-driven work with the SMI population.

Role Highlights:

  • Perform psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management
  • Treat Adults with SMI, psychotic disorders, mood disorders, and IDD
  • Average caseload ~5–8 patients/day; LOS varies
  • Join a well-supported team: Psychiatrists, PMHNPs, Psychologists, Social Workers
  • Participate in coordinated, team-based inpatient care; on-site only

Requirements:

  • Active Georgia APRN license with PMHNP and prescriptive authority
  • 1–3 years’ experience preferred; strong new(er) PMHNPs considered
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
